wow such an original video!!ยจ!
que video tan original!!

sha has such a beautiful voice!!!.. so soothing!… =)
i d tap it!!!!
Great video. The awesome Keith Moon-sounding drummer is Tim Barnes. Didn’t know of him until hearing this song and thinking, “wow, who is that guy?” He really takes this song to another level.
Love this song and the album too, listened to this album on repeat while staying in the New Forest for a few days in 2006, so this always takes me back that restful break cheers.
I love that line “I think I’m gunna cry but I’m gunna laugh about it all in time….”
i feel on reflection that maybe the she is wanting to leave some of the memories behind for a time.
i aggree with you about her being unpretentious. she is wonderfully refreshing in our world of tartly and simple artists these days.
I dont feel the song is about rejection of consumerism. For if you look closely at the items in start of vid they seem with character and dated;as tho memories and mean lots. maybe them folowing her to nature is to show her way of going into a new fresh season of her life and taking with her her treasured memories.
wot u think?
great song. i suppose we project onto songs what we want but it is about love gone wrong or at least not gone correctly
Beth would have to be one of the most unpretentious artists around (well at least thats the way it comes accross in all her vids, never having seen her perform live).
Can anyone clarify if the song is about the rejection of consumerism/materialism and getting ‘back to nature’? Thats what the vid seems to suggest but I can’t conclude that from the lyrics.
Prolly why I like it so much.
I love this vid so much I spoofed it! The animation is so inspiring!
fantastic. love the way its been animated. Gives her a great “walk”
Guess it’s only fittng that the motel room’s getting rearranged at that point in the song!
i like these kinds of video’s.
I am ebarressed, I only found about her today. Out company deals with Ryan Adams and he told us that he had a fling with her, and she was one of the most amazing women he ever met. At first I was a bit cynical but her music is growing on me.
Hahaha was thinking the same thing!!
Does anyone else think “Keith freakin’ Moon” when those drums come in?…..but sort of Keith Moon-lite, if you know what i mean…
Humorous. =]
I LOVE THIS SONG! Beth Orton is a goddess
This video is really neat too. I watch it all the time.
Regina Spektor reminds me of her.
She reminds me of Regina Spektor.
i think shes class,puka video
