Great! Let’s not get into tech details, but this just can not be done with DMS, nor the routers have nowhere near enough processing power for such an application. But my main point is not technical - the problem is that the message in the ad is entirely not true and will lead to unsatisfied customers, which is exactly the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. The ***** up is in the marketing, not in the technical department.

Cisco has digital cameraa and partners with video analytics software developer, that together with DMS and Cisco LCD screns (yes, cisco sells LCDs too) make the solution.
ISR G2 routers can host the video analytics application and fetch new dress model from the HQ of the company.

Again, nothing to do with any of the technologies present in this ad. And this clip is about ISR, not DMS. Nevertheless DMS is just a network video player system, nothing more…

What makes this possible? Certainly not the ISR G2 routers! Such a technology for motion capturing and 3D mapping has nothing to do with Cisco products. Gesture oriented interactivity also has nothing to do with Cisco products. Even the portrait LCD screen has nothing to do with Cisco products. This marketing clip is just a screw-up of Cisco’s marketing department and a lawsuit waiting to happen for misleading people into thinking that they can have this technology by purchasing ISR2 G2 routers.
